chop looks loads better!

good effort tho, and well done for tryin sumat different :)

the chop is gonna be put into action asap! gonna have to think of something for the rear bumper to. was thinking off extending the std rear to make it look more like a mk4 polo sport bumper like on the glx and 16v

so greatfull for the chop as its saved me having to try it out on my spare bumper!

imo the splitter and all arches and trim done in gloss black could work along with a red bonnet, badgless grill and a new plate.

good effort, from personal experience, you'll modify it a few times until you're happy with it. I'm on the 4th version of my front bumper now, but each time you get closer to what you think looks right. Its nice to have something thats original though.

yeah it does! was only meant to be a tempory measure to hide all the cable ties holding the exhaust on!, just never got around to doing anything with it, still it'll be all change soon

I actually like the back lol. Makes the car look ultra low from the rear!!

jon.. you and your plates... tut! lol theres nothing wrong with the plate. just take off the rear splitter, and the splitters off of the front one and it will look GAWGUS

to be fair they are the original ones and the front one has black caps over the screws in amongst the dead flies, the back is a bit tired looking, but they are close on 16 years old!

I think it could be a grower.

Late night boredom strikes again!!!

your good at the old photoshop, i hardly noticed half the stuff you had changed at first!

started modding the rear bumper!

smoothed some special bits to the bottom, deleted the tow cover then trial fitted

plastic filler primer:

white primer

painted and back on the car!

before:

after:

got bored and painted a spare filler cap

also painted the boot plinth back to black, think i prefered it red though so will painting it back red!

the bumper is gonna need redoing though as the paint has crazed :( but I'm hoping i might be able to wet flat the marks out. dunno why it did it, made sure i used paint wipes before spraying it.

now that looks chav! front bumper has potential but that is gash!

Need to lower the front as its a bit to arse down imo ..

I quite like the overall idea of flushing in the front and back but looks a bit odd without the sides done!

i dont mind that back bumper at all, i think its better than the old one. A lot of "scene" types obviously wont like it cos its different. But different is cool. Everyone thinks they are being different with their euro style and rat look and stuff, but really they are all the same. I think if you colour coded the arches or something it would look a lot better? Maybe take the two holes out so its all smooth.

I like the photoshop of the front bumper, it looks good with the splitter the whole way across, you gona do that?

You definitely need new plates btw lol.

You seem to be good at the diy too, props to you for doing work of what looks to be a high quality yourself.
