hi, deciding to sell my gt coupe as in need of money!!! its a mk3 cl coupe on the logbook but has had a gt conversion. the car runs just need a bit of setting up to get its true protential. it has got 70mm lowering springs and shocks, exhaust, polished pirellis. it has been stripped out and has a homemade rear strut brace.

it has no mot or tax

feels like engine mount is well on its way out.

overall its a mk3 coupe indeed of bit of tlc with good potential

350 takes it or 250 without pirellis but url have to provide your own wheels!!!

the bodyworks rather good not any signs of rust, bit of damage to arches where theve been pulled and patch of laquer missing on roof, thats bout it. the car runs really rich due to afm setting up as far I'm I'm aware, othe than that the rear engine mount is bit loose causing a thud when turning corners and going into reverse/1st, I've just bought some bike carbs for it so will see if it runs on them and then may sell it with tax and m.o.t, only reason I'm sellin is as I'm after a scirocco now as polos a bit too small

how much work will it need to get through the mot

hi thanks for the interest, i may be putting it threw its m.o.t myself so will be after more for the car as i will also be taxing it, in next off work on monday so will c what work it needs and then decide wether its cost effective for me to m.o.t it, to be honest not sure what it will need for m.o.t properly until monday sorry

right i managed to have a look at it last night and have now decided I'm just gonna sell it as I'm desperately after a scirocco!!! its runs at around 2000 rpm in idle!!!!! which I'm pretty sure is just to do with the afm or throttle body, there is no rust on the car and will not require any sort of welding for mot, as far as I'm aware for mot it needs engine setting up, cat, 2 new tyres on p slots,

the engine mount may be going or it could be the exhaust heat sheild rattling about.

seem as I'm desperately after a scirocco as i need a bigger car now il let it go for 300 with the pirellis!

oh yeh and il throw the bike carbs (zx6r) and bike pump in for that aswell as no use to me now lol

the mileage is believed to be under 100k, it runs just need afm setting up properly.

the polos still for sale but as need it gone with or without both sets of wheels or just 1 set. the parts are worth more than what i will let it go for, but at the moment dont hav the time to split it.

lowest will let car go for is 200 with no alloys or 275 with pirellis or 300 with others or 400 with both sets, may sell wheels seperate if sell the car without them.
