You could have always looked in the Engine, Transmission & Tuning for sale part cause 7 posts down there is post called

"polo gti 6n2 1.6 16v (125bhp) full engine and box

engine, box, ecu, loom, new gearbox and all ancillaries"

holly ill have your 1.4 16v! if u gti it.

ill put it on throttle bodies!

Gear box is Knackered Simmy, cant get another for less than £375 so no point even fixing it. AA Man had to tow me home yestarday.

Its off road now till i find a donor engine / gear box or BUYER!

I did look in the for sale section, but must have missed it!, i shall have a look now.

Anyone anywhere? We are prepared to travel for the right engine!

Need one ASAP as i need to get my car back on the road.

if you know of one that is 'reserved' this is no good to me, i need one NOW as in this weekend if possible!

mine is available when i'm home in 3 weeks time, Ad n pics up in engine section, to stop the stupid gearbox issues, a loop GTI sump bolts straight on, and gives more options.

The Lupo GTI gear boxes are 6 speed with a hydraulic clutch, so not much good to me i'm afraid, but thanks for suggesting this anyway

Not soon enough, i'd like to get hold of one now if possiible as i need my car back on the road

you can fit geaboxes other than loop ones, just a space issue...
