i have never once said you arent getting the last couple of parts or anything like that, i have also stayed in contact when i can. i run a business and do not have time to text people all day.

the car is very close to being finished at last, it has had set backs due to matters i wont discuss and that were way out of my control. the garage will not give me all the parts you need untill they have finished.

i also did offer to give you your money back before the engine, box and ecu were sent up to you. you said it would be easier to carry on.

a lot of members on here know me personally and will agree that i am not on here to scam anyone, i have no need to and also i like the scene and the people so getting myself a bad reputation will do me no favours.

You might not have said they arent getting the parts, but you have also not sent them the parts! nor did you say, oh it may be 3 months till i get the parts

wh wont the garage give you parts until they have finished? it doesnt make sense, they arent your parts, or the garages, they are rae and hollys! and please do not pull the old "matters i wont discuss" you have bummed rae and holly so you need to tell them exactly why

well at this point did you not think to refund them anyway, for your own sake, and when you had all the bits in a big pile, ring rae, one phone call, its here ready to go

well you said it, bad reputation will do you no favours, but you have one now, and what makes it worse is your making excuses for it, when basically you have just done a series of things wrong, and that has caused all this, which is, your own fault

please dont be so bloody over exaggerative, it takes a minute to text to tell the people you have skanked where their parts are, they arent ringing up to ask you to buy windows they are trying to get their damn car parts.

been some harsh things gone on here of late, scammers and even scene members depriving people of goods they have paid for, shame that its a small few that destroy it for others

it is a shame, if people are that bothered then ban me.

i want this all sorted and finished too thanks but all in all this is for myself, holly and rae to sort out.

fair points mate, it is very difficult to control forums and the internet.

it will get sorted and then after that what people make of my reputation on here is completely up to them.

and it would be an easy option if i had ran out of money but sadly i haven't, I'm just waiting for my bloody car to be finished

I think i am now been ignored.

I have text numberous times, no reply.

I was promised all the remaining parts were ready to go over 2 weeks ago now, but they still haven't arrived.

holly/rae have you rung the garage about the parts and asked why tom hasnt sent them? just a thought and double check with them why they wont let tom take anything

I told Tom i am not dealing with the garage anymore, i have paid Tom not them. So they have no interest in sorting my bits out. they only have an interst in what tom is paying them to do.

i am completely lost over what to do now. my exchaust keeps falling off & the other car is now out of action. so i really need this sorting now.

sorry joff16v; you must be referring to a different car / engine / person.

the one we have runs quiet, doesnt tap or knock and smokes less than my last mk2 golf when cold. I regularly think i've stalled it at lights etc because i can't hear it ticking over, even with the radio off.

once it has the proper exhaust on, it will drive a bit quieter - currently has a leaky 1.4 exhaust on which is a tad noisey.

oh... and then theres the BMC CDA....
