audi a6 immobilisers

Featured Replies

Yes i know this is a polo form but i need some help my dads 1995 audi a6 will not start as the chip out of the key has been lost when he changed the battery in it (God knows how he did but he did ).

So we are well in the sh*t as the car has only got the one key. He had a new key cut with a new chip but audi say we need to get the car to them to reset the key. the key was £60 and to have it reset its £40 on top of that but we can't get the car to them as it will not start :x .

Is there any way the immobilizer can be removed by myself?
