i have decided after nearly a year of preparation, time and money these wheels do not suit my car lol

so i have a set of 4 4x100 la castlettes (i think thats how its spelt?!?) with brand 185/55/14 tyres on them, the wheels are mirror polished with the spoke 'gaps' painted gloss black. they are not perfect, pitting has occured but not noticible when shined up and on a car, one wheel has a nick taken out of the rim although it does not let the tyre go down. i have just had the tyres fitted with new valves and rebalancing. i am looking for around 500- 600 quid offers are welcome but only if they are sensible. i am in telford, shropshire. i can get a courier but would rather buyer collects as they WILL get scratched. pics can be found here- the audi pepperpots are also for sale, 80 quid - http://s216.photobucket.com/albums/cc293/m...k=nav_tab_album

hate to piss on your bonfire but they are only worth 300 tops! the tyres arent a great size unless you run a 6n. I sold my mirror polished casties without tyres for £120 to give you an idea what they are worth

I'm out then, wee bit much for wheels that need work.

got my 15" castellets for £425 mirror polished with tyres and they are a lot rarer than 14s thought that might help you to better price these wheels

yep they most certainly were. tis only the 15" version of them that are worth big bucks

i thought the 15's wer more common this is only the second set of 14's I've seen. by the way they dont need work they are pitted but unless you want to re-face them and then repolish them they are fine. i bought these for 100 with fairly good tyres then had them polished i need to make money on them dont i?!?! so ill say 220 without the tyres collected i cant really go any lower, if they dont sell they dont sell and i will have to keep em lol

I think* the 15" castellets only came on mk1 golf cabriolet rivages and there are only 25 of these in the UK I think, therefore only 25 sets of 15inch ones

14" versions are as common as anything and can be found on quite a few variants.

To confirm the 15" versions are the rare ones & command a big price, only seen these for sale over on Club GTi as people really love the look of them.
