Right i went round to see Dan (TractorBoy) today to look at his Borbet A's he has for sale and test fit them, so they fit pretty well at the front but the rear will need rasing slightly to make them practical and all the alloys will need a slight refurb to have them looking spot on. Anyway i've got some pictures of them fitted and wanted to know what peoples opinions were Good or Bad

hmm I'm not 100% sure, them rears will be reet with lower pros and stretch and maybe camber shims, i think they are either going to finish the car or ruin it. i just cant make my mind up which so I'm like you mate.. undecided :p

Yeah i know what you mean Polomon i'm just a bit undecided atm i think it might be the fact that they're 16" so just look slightly too big if they were 15" i think they'd look mint :-D , i just fancy a change of wheel and can't make my mind up

lower pros camber flat caps and a good bit of polihing and i think they will be fine mate, and 16's can look good and it has been proved on a number of mk4's

I'm not 100% but they do look good, i think its the size tbh

put some 165/40's for a nice stretch, would make it look perfect and we be almost the same rolling radius as 15s with 195/45

Oh yeah i forgot to mention their on 215/45/16 tyres so will a 165/40 tyre work or will it just be an unbearable ride, and where can i get the flat caps from but i'm liking the idea of a polished lip will help break the alloys up a bit

Edit: it will also be going nose down soon i'm thinking 65mm front & 50/55mm rear for a meaner stance

flat caps are quite rare and expensive i think, so maybe get a fab shop to make you some ouf of alloy osr somehting? or chop the lug off yors and smooth them? i think wind the coilkeis down on the fornt of yours asis and itll be a great stance!

I think the fronts sits well, but now looking at the pic's of the rear I'm unsure. Lucky we tested the rear as well.

If you manage to get the coilovers free again we can try all four and see what they look like

I like them. Just need some narrower tyres.

16s aren't to big imo. Look fine. Better than 13s with huge arch gap!!

Are they 7.5Js all round? If so, a set of 195/40s on them and the rolling radius won't be much higher than standard, plus you'll be able to fit them in your arches and have a bit of stretch.

stretch the tires and your rear arches and your on to a winner mate.

Yeah they are 7.5j all round, my bad the tyres on them atm are actually 215/40

sorry mate i didnt see your post, i cant guarantee anything as i cant seem to do polished lips but i will have a crack at it for you nwo mate

sorry about the front wheels dodgy angle, the pic didnts eem to want to shrink to that angle and look ok. sorry thats the best i can do :(
