I'm going for a different look on my car and i want to try out pinstriping has anyone done it before? if so have you got any tips?

I did something similar for my art gcse and got an A so i "should" be ok at it......

Throw some pics up too so i can get some ideas

I'm going to have a piece across the boot, near the lock. I've got a few ideas from bits I've seen on the net (google ftw ) but i want some better stuff to pinch bits from

I might just do it free hand and see what it turns out like.....

Free hand sounds good all tho i had a tattoo done free hand and it went wrong and it can't be removed. :(

Yeah i think i`ll just draw a design first

It will cost a fair bit to make it look any good but thats what i get for doing it cheap in the 1st place any way back on topic what ideas do you have in mind?

think you should try something like this :

try www.pandkg.com magazine a bit pricey but well worth it, its only mail order tho.

^cover everything from airbrushing, pinstriping, tatoo from the oldskools to the new skool stuff.

iv got a pinstriping starter kit think it was £40-50 that comes wit all the bit to get started (brush, two pots of "oneshot paint" cleaning stuff, thiners and a how to dvd)

i only tryed it once and found it hard but was great trying, and iv got qualifications in art and car refinishing so hav a steady hand .

if u need anything i can look it up 4 you in my books n magz

bloody hell i did think my subscription was that much, saying that the mag is out every 2months so 6 issuses dose go a long way.

nah, although it could be used to describe the acts/behaviour of such men who choose to "mate" with each other
