I think we'll be making him a TDI badge to replace the GTI like.... prefer it without the red strip, perhaps some gold or chrome to replace it?

some gold detailing could look cool :p just dont go over the top with it though

the gti badge was because i had put my mates grill on to see if it looked good without the red stripe, didnt want to pull mine off and not like it.

I'm thinking of more spacers, I've just sold mine as they killed my wheelbearings on the borbets, I've got some 5mm i might try, doubt i will see the differnce tbh.

I've spoke to a guy who does awesome pinstriping and doing the fogs gold or vw badges but I'm not sure.

also looked into changing the spoke color.....

these do look very cool dude! just the tyres are too dam skinny, esp at the back!

space them out would be half way there but they do need a wider profile tyre on the rears i think!

i cant space them out as they dont go down well with the law as they are due to the centres sticking out, looking into some bigger tires for the rears,

i realy like these and would love me a set, i also agree a bit of gold detailing would complete the look

gotta say I'm not a fan of the wires but on a black mk5 they do look good, nice one for doing something a little different! cant you get away with some smallish spacers on the rear?..will do the world of good i reckon, gold detailing would look serious pimp as well...like the engine bay :)

Agree with the spacers part, but overall think they look good mate.

Atleast it is (fairly) individual :-)

looks pretty cool. Remove mud flaps and gti badge though :)
