hello been on holiday to zante and even tho the cars been going wrong i missed it like mad lol (sad i know) but I'm back now and was thinking of lowering my car further but...

as much as i love my peco backbox it hangs low the tailpipe is only an inch or so lower than the bottom of the bumper but the bottom of the box hangs low and scrapes on some high speedbumps now so will be too low if lowerd more.

has anyone else got round this sumhow. for example can i cut the hangers on the backbox down or can i use smaler ruber bungs?

i know i will have to cut the bumper abit if i want to keep the exhuast and i manage to get it hang higher but I've seen this done on a few polos and if done correctly i think it looks ok.

or would be best selling for another backbox that the tailpipe comes out the bottom of the box rather than the middle if anyone knows of any?

If you can find a backbox where the tailpipe comes out of the bottom of the silencer rather than the middle that would help a lot, other way is bending the hangers so it sits higher or even creating your own hanging brackets.

may also be worth considering cutting your bumpe to make it sit even higher
