I will be completely honest in my description, the car does run, but it does need work attending to quite urgently. i don't have the money, time or space to keep the car how it deserves to be...

Details:

Engine: Full stainless steel Powerflow system, Ashley 4-2-1 manifold, High lift piper rally cam, Poloace 8k limit chip, K and N panel filter (drilled air box).

Suspension: Spax 70mm springs and shocks.

Brakes: Ferodo fast road pads

Wheels and Tyres: 13 - 6" Et 13 multi-spoke alloys with polished dish, 175/50/13 yokohama A539 tyres (2 front ones have done less than 1k, rear ones still have at least 5mm before the mark) From what i can make out, the wheels are BBS Mahle's

Exterior Styling: Clear indicators/side repeaters, late spec tinted clusters, de-wipered and flushed boot.

Interior Styling: Mk2 coupe s rear bench and Scirocco front seats. Late spec GT interior with black doorcards and headlining.

Bad points:

1. Rust; exterior is in good condition, just needs a clean. The problem lies within the drivers footwell, where the bulkhead is rusting causing the accelerator pedal to move freely all over the place. The rust has only spread about 1cm either side of the bolt which secures the pedal to the bulkhead. This needs some attention. I will take a video tomorrow to show exactly what i mean.

2. Loss of power/something blowing/poor fuel consumption. I've found that the manifold has all been pushed upwards slightly and is touching the bottom front edge of the block. it seems like there's something blowing. i'm not a mechanic and i dont know what I'm looking at really.

3. Most probably needs a new battery, however i am not sure, it may have just been the massive sub i had in the boot which drained it. i will start it again tomorrow and see how it goes.

Comments:

Since i've owned the car (about 8 months now) I have replaced clutch cable, wheel bearings, both rear hubs, rear brake hoses, exhaust manifold gasket, radiator, water pump, in line fuel pump+mounts and hoses.

I stopped driving it 3 weeks ago; i have been driving a diesel vento since. I started the polo yesterday after charging the battery, it started first time and ticked over fine.

I know everyone says it but; i love this car, and i would keep it if i could but it needs regular upkeep and i just cant afford to with trying to move out of the parent's house.

note: the car will not come with the momo team steering wheel. it will have the original GT steering wheel instead.

There is no soundsystem supplied with the car, however, i will include the speakers in the parcel shelf. all speakers work.

also note: to listen to any music in the car you need a fat sub to hear anything over the exhaust... it's worth it though.
