Featured Replies

Hey,

I want to go to northern france for a few days,

would it be cheaper/easier to get the car here then drive over via eurotunnel or get the eurotunnel and hire when i get to the other side?

How much am i looking at roughly, very roughly! am over 25

tbh id fly, its much easier...

Just drive your own car?

surely its a case of whether u want a left or right hooker?, hire one here n its obv gonna be right, while its left in france. like hypojam said above, if you are wantin a right hooker why not take you are own car?

i hired a car for a weekend about 2years back so i could go skydiving and that cost me £80.

I'd hire a car this side of the channel if i were you. At least if owt goes wrong, you'll be able to get it sorted much quicker!

I'm pretty sure most rental places over here will allow travel to europe, though it will cost more... maybe much more.

I'm going in july in my polo with a few other friends in there cars.

we're going to south offrance though....we've made abit ofagame of it though.

you have to make it from bradford to france(500 miles) on one tank lol

its possible but i also doubt it lol

its to paris not just to france sorry

Bradford to Paris on 1 tank? I wish you the best of luck. Not only with that but with the french being the worlds shittest drivers! Arc de triumph should be an experience!

if you are going in july i would fill up the tank and leave your car standing now before it costs you a gazillion pounds the way fuel prices are going.

i dont fear the petrol prices lol

back to the original question i'd get one in england because its right hand drive.....just stick with what your used to.

my mate who is coming to france with me as already booked a car. hes got a new astra 1.9 diesel £200 for one week with unlimited mileage...which i dont think is a bad price?

£200 sounds reasonable. Mine was £80 but i got £30 back (deposit) so £50 to rag the hell out of someone elses car wasn't bad.

When you go to France make sure you don't get done for petrol smuggling, not sure if therew is a limit
