Hi everyone,

I'm abit bored so instead of spamming up cp i thought i would post a thread instead :p

The wheels are currently being refurbed to a some what differant stye to the norm but damn... I'm lovin them already and i haven't removed all the masking tape and other tapes yet :-D :shock:

so as like my OCD thread this is a kinda step by step refurb of my rims upto the current date, ok so maybe they arent finished yet but they aint far off! :-)

This is on ma mate Bens car (polo-shuff6n) these are the only pics i have of them before i bought them:

and this is a photoshop of what i have planned as i kinda teaser :

and during refurb

stage one.. sand back and primer isent in these shots as it was a hot day and i just wanted to get on with it. The rims are powder coated i was a tad hot by the end of all the sanding :lol:

The next lot of pics are of the black just after paint, so its not settled or dried, just sprayed.

then it was time to mask up the centre (which took a good hour per rim to get perfect)

but imo it was well worth the effort!

abit of white going on, these shots are after one coat of white on the fronts and 3 on the backs of the rim.

then after a week or so hardening (whilst exams were on) i decided to check the quality of the line seperating the two colours:

The colours used are halfords paints for the time being, the white is VW candy white and the black is VW black (all it sais on the can) but for top coat white i will be usin main stealers white for a true paint match as halfords colours do seem abit creamy in comparison.

sorry about poor quality cam control i dont have a tripod and i definatly do not have a steady hand hehe. :lol:

Thanks for the comments pplz, apreciated. gives me the get up and go I've been needing because of these exams to go out and polish up and lacquer them now :p darn quick replies too haha 8-)

Its 10 to midnight on a friday night, I'm not allowed soco because of medication, no booty calls are free either, sat in my palace of love all on my jack jones
