Have enjoying driving the loon but the time has come for the G to become my daily.

So decided to spend a few hours cleaning it up so I can enjoy the last week together.

Scull n Crossbones are in one of the garages Yeti don't despair. Selling it did cross my mind. Although its nice to have a working car there should one of the other break down. The engine is so mint I hate to see it go. Which is why i got it back after I sold my GT

That Jag fuel pump has a different part number by the way. It's for a 1983 Jaguar XJ6 4.2 EFI auto if it makes any difference.

You are mental for running the G as a daily, that loon would be perfect, I mean what do you get, best part of 35-40 mpg in it probably?

toby your right in saying about the GT as a daily. Makes perfect sense. a My inability to drive sensibly means I only get about 30mpg out of it. Motorway miles is what it mostly does and sitting at a ton flashing in the outside lane is just too much fun to be sensible.

I didn't spend thousands of pounds and hundreds of hours slaving away to have a car in the garage.If the G40 breaks/gets crashed when I a driving it then so be it. Thats what I built it for.

I get to see it again tomorrow, my old lowriding loon still looking sweet and now a bit of a sleeper ...yeah the pikey headlamps were me, so was the pirate ship grille badge. (it's off a rover but shhh)

My dad keeps telling me to put the Eaton in the loon and I have been tempted. I could do it in a day so its not that mad an idea :lol:

although I do want to build a real car and stop messing around with polos. I don't need the money from it which is why i never put it up for sale just spoke between mates about selling up. My GTi is my first step to properly tracking a car and after that I will decide what I do.
