- I have had the car a week and already fitted Mk5 red rears, de-badged it and G60 steels and after a quick clean here she is:

:-D - Very pleased with the results of the few simple mods...

I bought it with the coilovers fitted - just some philJ ones - which needed adjusting - all now done and the ride is better.

It's a 1300 6n with 88K - Not sure which white yet but the door looks like it may have been changed at some stage but i'm happy!

I was in Flore earlier,had i seen this post then,id've nipped over for a closer look - thats the direction id take a 6n.

looks good that does amte... did you buy it from somebody in a place called Macclesield... seen one knockig about in my town with a black lower numper n splitter...

Think it was merseyside where i picked it up - top lad who just put a deposit down on a new car and was shifting this to make way for that...

Side strips came off yesterday - looks a lil' different now but i'm sure it will keep changing!

Plans are to use this as a daily - keep it as clean and tidy as possible for a white car - maybe an 16v front bumper if i get a bonus or something

Like your wheels too hehe not seen many about appart from mine i can see the difference in the colour of the door mine is the same for some reason but hardaly notisable unless your looking for it will have to catch up at a show sometime, Cherry is having a body touch up soon and going to paint my wheels same colour of the car but I'm not to sure if it will look right.

I love the fact you gone the same way with me just add a couple of things and it looks stunning mine is a budget car whole thing including mods and car cost me £700 and looks great.

i think you should paint the upper sections black and do the lower bumper sections white!

I got a de-badged grill last night - and with the side strips off it looks much better aswell - I will get some more updated pics and get them online

some ehem idiot down here bought one, i doesn't look too bad although it's only in primer coz he smoothed the smaller upper grills (he didn't find it funny when i told him caddys and saloons come without them!haha!!) the main thing i've been hearing is they can't get the grills for them?

as a pattern part it didn't look bad as long as you can source the grills and splitter!

you could have told me when you first got the polow i just sold a clean genuine pair for £100 but you'd have obviously got discount!!

Sorry not the best photos as it was getting dark but heres a quick update from the mill meet last night:

Rubbing strips removed, some dealer stickers removed and a de-badged grille fitted!

Worst turn out ever at the mill - I fancied a pint though so that was my excuse
