After a ridiculous accident at the weekend (front end skid at 30, which I almost caught, aimed away from oncoming traffic, then flipped the car onto it's roof) I've got a mk3 to strip...

It's a '93 1043 CL in tornado red.

I've owned it for 3 years.

New parts:

Fuel tank (3 years ago)

Exhaust rear (stock) last year... and centre section this year.

New front shocks last week

New front control arms last week

Brake master cylinder last year

Probably more, but can't remember off hand.

Older parts:

Everything else...!

n/s/f wing in VGC

n/s door in OK cond

front bumper, grille, n/s/f lights

Sliding glass is OK (clear) and there's a tinted n/s front quater light

Have an uncut parcel shelf (blue) with 2x 3mm holes in (un noticable)

offside's all a bit mangled! Dent 4" long at the top of the leading edge of the wing, otherwise the o/sf wing's ok

It's a blue carpet, and the front seats are sold.

I'm looking to keep the back end for a trailer

Don't really want to mess about posting stuff. It's located in Woodville (S.Derbys) at the moment, but will get broken elsewhere. I'm living near Coalville (NW leics) if that makes it sound nearer for anyone!

Right... It's all in bits now...

There's 2 new (100 miles) tyres, and 2 good, used tyres (175/70.13"s) on black painted Seat Ibiza steel wheels. 1 wheel's dented, but there's a spare with a well worn tyre.

Windscreen seal (new 12/2006)

The wiper seals from the doors (replaced 2006)

Engine breather hose (T shape) (new last year) runs from crankcase to cam box and air cleaner

Bottom radiator hose fitted 01/2007

Front springs were wire brushed and painted.. in good cond.

Alternator

Starter motor

All switches etc

Air cleaner (new filter)

Electric carb (Single point injection)

oil sensors from rear of cylinder head

Dash parts ( be quick with any requests!)

Interested in the tinted N/S front quarter light, but it would have to be posted, any chance?

I've just replaced the one in mine but the only one I could get isn't tinted - stands out a little as the rest of the glass is.

Would have had the centre section of the exhaust too but, distance rules that out.

Know people that tend to be up and down the country a fair bit...

Not really up for posting glass... You'd be a bit too likely to end up with a parcel of broken glass, and a nice clean window rubber!

Hello and thanks for the reply, I see you point about the glass, I would also worry about the postal service dealing with such an item.

As for location, I'm near Holmfirth, Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, if something could be worked out for meeting somewhere then the mid section of exhaust may yet be viable also.

I'll ask around and see what I can do... There's a chap up that way with a 'rocco exhaust, so perhaps I could justify a trip up... Or I could blag a mate to do a couple of diversions

Nice one - it'll be good if it happens but, totally understandable if it doesn't.

The trailer sounds like a good idea, I've seen a few Beetle trailers at the shows, always look good.
