Mine's broken too Front strut is off the car, had a new wheel bearing fail on me. No damage done, just disappointed with the quality of GSF parts. Should have it done by this evening.

I hope you manage to get it sorted Vik :-D GSF wheel bearings are pants arnt they ! I went through about 3 sets of fronts on my old mk3 in about 6 months .. Thtas oversized wheels though .

That's a real shame about the classic, my GSF bearings were shot when new it seems - put 'proper' VW ones on there now, no messing with those puppies for a while. It's 50/50 whether i'll be ready for the meet at the moment.

Mine is still up on axels stands letting the trims glue back one I'm afraid :( Had a bit of a delay as had to drop the fuel tank to weld the bit on the sill, and I got give the wrong brake pads so had to wait around to borrow a car to swap them MOTs eh...

And I think I'll get me some VW wheel bearings for the mk1, you must be a bit annoyed pulling it apart again Vic!

p.s. Hoopy was bergerac pure sexy pool player! :) I lost though. Pub has put us in the mood for partying so we're going out in Derby on a wine fuelled rampage. :)

was a good meet i was there in the red mk4 polo (with the bra on). I was with my mate Seb and my Mate Eddie (with the Lowrider ) Some nice lookin cars there 2nite :)
