hey folks, i'm toying with the idea of selling my mk1 maybe to get a caddy van, so this is just a bit of a feeler/what's it worth

the car is a 1981 GLS 1.1, it has 59000 miles on the clock, has 11 months mot and 5 months tax.

in the last 2 weeks i have given her a service, including ;

oil and filter

air filter

spark plugs

coil

dizzy cap

rotor arm

points

condenser

coolant flush and new coolant

the body work is in pretty good condition but has a few blemishes here and there, the rear end being the worst, with a dent in the tailgate and on the o/s/r corner, see pics below. The underside is near perfect as she's been waxoiled from new. however the rear arches have started to rot

the interior is in very good condition, and comes complete with an old skool cd player !

The car drives very well, and pulls well in all 4 gears, i covered over 300 miles last weekend going to shows and she didn't miss a beat.

callum-- basing a rough price on the mk1 polo owners forum, and the fact that it's a gls (chrome stripes ect) need the fact that the dents on the back are the only real defects, i'm gonna offer a rough price of £1200, quite interested in the gt, any chance you can send me some pics ect ?

definately for sale now, i'm going to bristol volksfest at the weekend if anybody wants to see it in the metal, also forgot to mention that i have recently replaced the rubber gasket between the carb and the manifold, it was perished and stopped from idling correctely, but now she runs fine
