Not so Good:

Rust in usual door sill (common Problem) not very bad but will need sorting in the future, I’ve owned it a year and 2 months and it hasn’t got much worse. Drivers side worse of the two.

Bit of bubbled rust on passenger door above handle. Not very bad and no worse than when I got it.

Sloppy gears (again common problem) sometimes crunches 2nd but again hasn’t got any worse in the time I’ve owned it. Quickshift would probably sort it or new linkages.

The starter motor makes a funny noise. Now this in itself isn’t a problem, it always starts 1st time just might be annoying.

Passenger window makes a noise when it goes up. Has never failed but again probably just an annoyance.

There are a few dinks and marks here and there, but hey, it’s just gone 13 years old and done over 130,000 miles but paint is very shiny, no fading.

This car has been my daily driver for the last year or so and has NEVER let me down. I can’t think of any time he’s let me down. I will be sad to see him go as I’d have loved to have done more to him but a new potential vehicle is pretty much forcing the sale. I don’t have the room to keep him and my dippoop neighbours will moan about another car outside. I’ll give him a very good clean for the viewers and eventually the owner, which shouldn’t take forever as I’m always cleaning it. Its got gti alloys painted black but its starting to chip and thin as it was only meant to be temporary. The location of the car is south England. Pretty sure thats everything, I feel that £1500ono is a very good price for a Gti which has been looked after and has loads of potential.
