Going for a set of Phil J's TA Technix coilovers.

I have 3 sets of rims for the car - 2 are already bought and paid for (with tyres and ready to fit) the 3rd set if a rare old piece of classic VW rimmage and I haven't found a set yet!

Side repeaters are rare! Even rarer than ebay rare! You are looking at £35 a pair!!!

Well since I got the Fabia VRS the Polo has been handed to my wife to learn to drive in - other than she hates how low it is, doesnt like the wheels, and does get the point of the rust bonnet, she loves driving the thing! So She is just concentrating on learning in the instructors car for the time being, so i've got the Polo back!

I had refitted the 16v wheels and the original bonnet - but on Friday night I reploshed the wheels and refitted the rusty bonnet.

I'm going to upgrade my audio, hopefully get my hands on a different interior - do a few engine mods, maybe an exhaust too.

Already got started on sourcing parts - Alpine E-Type components up front, Infinity 6x9's in a stealth shelf, Vibe Mono 1200W amp, Infinity 1250W Sub. Its a very good thing to work in Halfords when the stock goes Obsolete!

Going to get a false floor made in the boot and mount the amp and sub in that. May also get a 4 channel amp to power the components and the 6x9's.

Air con just been regassed, which is great - especially since its been a really hot weekend.

Hope to pickup a new set of rims on Thursday - Also sourced a mk5 GTi interior to go into it - just need to sort out when I can go and get it!

Since getting back in the polo - i've been loving it! Loads of people go over and put their hands on the bonnet to see what it is - very funny to watch!

trying to find an ABT grill and a few other bits and pieces. just picked up a new set of G60 steels last week for £100 - hope to get them banded upto 7.5" width and a nice set of 185/45/15's

Plans sound good! Thinking of getting my standard 6n steelies banded for winter use :-D

Loving the bonnet, been looking for example, hoping to do the same to my silver 6n2 in the near future. It just stripped back left to rust then lacquered ?

Paint stripped - then sanded down. then leave it to rust! The outcome on mine of more than 12 months old now!

How long until the bonnet rusts to a point that it becomes unusable and you have to start over again?

They are called Tresers - off the Polo Treser Cabrio. Pretty rare. only a few sets in the Uk as far as I'm aware. these ones were up for sale. Looked very rough, had been badly painted with rattle cans, but inder the paint they were all polished. Just needed paint stripper and a quick rebuff!

As for the blanks, they are genuine VAg parts off a special edition american passat. Just something a little different!
