I have a set of BBS LM replica wheels, brand new never fitted.

they are 17"x7.5" 4x100 ET40. I went for ET40 because it will fit more VAG cars, use a 5mm or 10mm spacer for uber wide looks!

Hmm, any ideas whether these will fit a 6N2 Polo GTi Mk 5 without modding the arches? It's not lowered. I'm interested but I think 17"s are too big. Did you buy them from http://www.bbslmreps.co.uk ?

Correction, he sells them, a middle man if you will. I stand by my comment; try finding a set. Trust me, i have tried!

Well, I am wondering firstly:

Why you are selling them before you have even received them.

Secondly, why you are saying they are rare, when the guy who produces them told me he could do me the same ones as your selling no problems?

Righty - somehow there seems to be a problem with this sale, as i am personally getting emails demanding £400 - If this Seller is Mark Burton, then what is going on? In previous posts i have mentioned i can give advice on lm replica wheels - i am not involved in the company - i have merely designed the website, and am very good friends with one of the two partners - if people are asking advice then i forward the questions through email or phone them, to help them acknowledge there is a question regarding their product.

As i said if the seller mk4polo is Mark Burton, then i dont know what the hell you are playing at - siving through the internet to find where i work and to try and find my address (which isnt mine) You have got my partner worried sick about some freak playing spy games...

If the seller isnt Mark Burton, then i am really confussed and very sorry and please tell the Mods to remove this post immediately,

Either way, can someone please forward this to the attention of the mods - as i am unable to do so.

Hmm, I had planned to buy some of these BBS wheels. But every forum I got on has someone selling them with lines like:

"I have some for sale, but they are not here yet..."

So I am guessing the people are sick of waiting and so selling before even recieving?

I think I will pass on these, would have grabbed them instantly, but I dont think ill bother due to the unreliability of the postage and mystery behind he origin.
