allways been a huge fan of beetles since i was a kid, and in two pieces weather to keep or sell the mk1 for a beetle

ide be going for around 2-2500 for a solid one. not bothered about paint just engine and solidness

then bags and narrow beam

so I'm thinking of a budget of around 4000.

Some dreams and idealisms are best left just so. Beetles are rubbish to drive imo,and I'm sure you'll regret loosing a MK1 Polo for one. But if you're out of love with the Polo,or its just something you need to do,then what's right? One life and all that.

I had a beetle once and it was awesome no doubt about it, just be prepared for shit heaters and going slow (unless you dump a 911 engine in the back...)Plus they pretty much get just as much attention as driving a ferrari around imo!
