likin the luck of the RE gear thanx for thehelp so say if i got 1? or 2? of those recommendation of an amp to power them?then a set of rainbow (i think) comps in thedoors with another amp (recommendations?) up front for them and soundproofing throughout?

amps depend on power needed there are lots of decent ones out at the moment

Sound deadening is really important in any install but its fairly pricey! I'd put this fairly high on your list of priorities if you're serious about getting good SQ.

If you want sound quality dont get 6x9's

Just get some good quality Mids, crossovers and tweeters, this will level out the music better than any 6x9's

You can get bass style speakers the size of mids for the back
