Sorry if this has been covered but I couldn't find it via search.

When I put the foot down in my MK5 GTI the handbrake light keeps coming on and beeping. The handbrake isn't on at all though. any ideas what the problem could be? Cheers

Check your brake fluid.

If the level's gone down, work out how it escaped.
