if i had my insurance cancled by the insurer, do i get put on some sort of list or a mark put by my name?

and will it effect my insurance in the future?

Usually when you sign up to another insurer they ask if you have been refused or been canceled from insurance with in the last so many years.

so i think it depend on if you declair it.

Probably would depend on the reason behind the cancellation?

Think all that would happen is they will either refuse you insurance also or just bump up the price a tad.

It would depend on what happened for the insurance to be cancelled to tell if future insurers will increase the price for it.

nice try but a prospective insurance co is not interested in whether you "wanted it cancelled" or not!

they are interested in why you were refused,
