my clutch cable decided to snap on sunday so i could go on a drive out :/

so i were bored and found 2 grills when i were cleaning out the shed i had a idea to make a debadged grill

its come out ok tbh it just abit crooked on the bottom oh well :p

and the light have had the no reflective bit painted blcank then tinted the glass abit

and tineted the inside of my clear indicators

how do you re-texture it? i want to do something like this one day, but moving the badge to either the left or the right side of my grille, although saying that, I'm lazy and stupid, so i probally wont

Its not just that. Most of the big manufactures (FK, Jom etc) use shit plastics and the clips always break off. the genuine Volkswagen ones have much better more flexiable clips that don't just break off for the fun of it.

So not only are you saving £20, but you learning to do something AND ending up with a better quality product. Provided its done correctly of course.
