Could you tell me which colour wire goes where on the vehicle speed sensor please? Trying to help out a mate.

I'm expecting +12v, ground and signal connections - just not sure which is which.

Wire colours are as follows:

yellow with brown stripe

brown with black stripe

black with brown stripe

I have a Mk3 Fiesta Haynes, but the part is from a Mk4 - so it's not much use! Not had a response on the Fiesta forums I've tried, so thought a quick stab in the dark on here might be worthwhile.

2nd one will be an earth, beyond that, no idea.
