why pay for full comp on a car witch would be written off if u crash even if its not your fault and minor damage? there are no benifits of being fully comp on any car under a grand! you could save your self money! only go full comp if your car has been valued and if a shit thing happens u get the value of the car and not scrap value or current market value witch is nothing for a GT really!

/\/\/\ The man has a point! I'm yet to go full comp.

Check the policy on that as normally they only allow Third Party cover on another car if you are over 21/23/25 (depending on the policy)

my sisters mk3 square was insured fully comp, when it got written off 2 months ago she got £600 for it and was allowed to keep the car...

direct line same age same postcode except minus the no claims and has 6 points

Direct Line are a strange one, i have no NCB and i pay £370 a year at 22. Every where else i tried it was £600 upwards. Thats fully comp as it's £7 quid a year more which includes windscreen cover, and if somebody decides to kick your car in I'm covered too.

Thats why i've always gone fully comp. more things you're covered against. The legal cover came in handy too.

£700 on a mk2 gt with a cage

I agree. If it were me i'd do the same.

I'm with HIC i requested if i could be able to drive other cars TPFT I'm 21 with 1 year ncb and i only pay 400quid a year i think on a classic car policy with HIC TPFT on my GT and drive other cars FP!

and still no reason for fully comp insurance only if its cheaper and even if some nice people kicked your car in why claim your premium will go sky high when your cars prob not worth fuck all to an insurance company and there prob write it off just for a dent in a wing!

Got a quote from HIC of £315 for a GT with suspension and alloys. That's for a 26yo with 7years NCB, 1 accident and the car would be parked in an OK part of Brissol. Certainly not cheap but not too bad. £500 for a 19yo sounds pretty good to me. Reading below Direct line might be worth a try but I've never been good keeping a car standard so HIC are a winner there.

WTF??? :retard:

What he's done is make the simple mistake of confusing a discussion about insurance with the wanted section. I almost did exactly the same thing, it's so easy to do...

I assume that "gays" is referring to the number of happy people on here :retard:

I'm 21 with 2yrs ncb and i'm paying just under £500 fully comp with Direct Line. They even gave me the 10% online discount for buying online, over the phone too 8-)

I thought Direct Line doesn't like mods?? I have mods to the engine/interior/exterior so i gotta stick with AdrianFlux at the moment.

I'm 18, 1years no claims and pass plus. i pay £850 a year on a gt square tpft! all mods declared obviously :p with adrian flux

mines 920, mods declared and 3 points, just tuned 20.

1 years no claims

wuda been 750 without the 3 points

direct line same age same postcode except minus the no claims and has 6 points

And you covered your wheels etc how lol??? I thought you had to be over 25 for mods on DL? :p

i'm 20, 3 years NCB, on TPFT with HIC and i paid £559 with breakdown cover (thankfully  ) last week! I dont live in too bad of an area tho.
