Retro look

looks okay, went a bit overboard with the chrome tape though...

Agree with that though, especially the rear lights

tis cool dude, remove the tape form the grille and i think it will be much better, but love the exhausts and the rack.

Like that man, think it looks great.

Get it sitting slightly lower though :-)

The chrome trim is in 1970s MK1Golf/Polo/Passat/Scirocco OE places

The chrome grill bars are OE on a 1970s MK1 VW

I know mate, I've grown to realise that the exhaust doesn't quite suit the car, it was ment to look like a classic beetle exhaust but I'm planning on getting a new single exit backbox with a bastuck tip welded on at a outward/upward angle :-o

In my eyes that is swaying more towards the "rat look" than anything else .

I wouldnt call it euro ..

I wouldnt call it OEM +

Silly amounts of stickers = Check

Roof rack with random stuff on it = Check

Weird but wonderful exhaust choice = Check

Obscure aircooled esque look to it = Check

Yellow spot light = Check

Or i supose it could have its own catagory "Oldschool look"

I dunno what catagory would you say it best falls into ??

Its an aircooled/1970s water cooled/oldskool inspired MK3 Polo.

I've just taken a inspiration form 70s/80s cult concepts.

What I was going for was a late 1970s Cal-Look actually.

this is my fave look for old dubs, altho probably a bit ott for what i'd build, i still think it looks fantastic and really unique. good work :D
