Well I was gonna buy a boot popper but since I have no job and plenty of time on my hands I decided to give it a go, took some time but if I ever need to do another one its a walk in the park really.

I enjoyed the challenge so why the hell not!

Nah this is cool, I love the way that you come up with unique ideas all the time. Although for future reference, don't go out and buy a boot popper, go down your local scrappy and get one for peanuts there ;)

Well this mod only cost about 5 quid so it ain't all bad.

i dont get it, looks crap!!! :paranoid:

Why, because you don't like it?

Not liking it is kinda what thinking something looks crap is  Anyway looks at 'polo1.8tgti07' s car in his avatar, he clearly likes a different style of modding. And he's perfectly right to say he doesnt get it and thinks it looks crap if thats how he feels. He doesnt have to rave about jimmys car just cos all teh scene kids like it.

Oh, and it's def not rat, if you had to class it as anything, it's got to be be Cal Look. 8-)

Yeah whoever said it was rat needs their head felt...

I like some parts of this car but then other things I'm not so sure about. I like the wheels and the engine, i like sunvisors. The roofrack aint bad. The chrome trim i dont like. Jimmy defends it by saying it was OEM on 70s dubs, i say:

1 - your polo aint 70s, it wasnt oem on it.

2 - your polo is modded anyway, so doesnt have to stay oem.

3 - something being oem is no reason to keep it if it looks crap.

but hey you like it so thats cool. but dont defend it by saying it was oem. defend it by saying you like it and dont care if anyone else does.

Overall, your car looks pretty sweet. looks like it goes well too :p, your list of future mods is impressive, get them all done and youll have some car!

your car pimps hard

(my saying for this week)

Its deffo individual :-D

Bet it needs the engine to lug around all the extras

I wasn't saying it was OEM or 70s. Clearly the car is a '92 mk3 Polo and the inspired style is taken from a late 1970s mk1 VW Golf/Polo/Passat/Scirocco/Caddy or whatever with a splash of aircooled accessorising.

However thanks for you positive input, I've still got a lot of plans for this car, hopefully I will have a well paid job soon so I can get on with it!

that boot release is ace, the car isnt my cuppa overall, preferred it way back when it was less modded, but it really does have some superb one off mods and its great to see someone getting their hands dirty rather than shipping the car off with a phat cheque.

it would be a sad, sad world if everything looked the same

Love the car.

where can i get a roof rack like that id love 1 and how much are they?

sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeper at 145 bhpz
