Ok, i cleaned up the car yesterday to keep it looking nice in the sun :). Heres some fresh piks, I'm not too handy with a camera but theyll do lol.

Its all booked up for show and shine at inters this weekend, sunday only I'm affraid though as I'm working satarday.

have you used clay to finish off the paintwork??

if it was a new car i cant see the point in clay? woudl be intresting to see what the th epaint differance woudl eb though if atall anything!

not necessarily true polomon, sometimes the paint can be just as bad, if the car has bee on a forecourt for instance, or a demo car

Cheers all for the comments, I'm really happy with this car :).

Its been cleaned using meguires gold class shampoo, then once all dried (with micro fibre) i used meguisers quick detailer which is great stuff. A couple of weeks ago it had the meguiers gold class wax treatment though.

I gave the lips a quick metal polish back up to shine then used detailer to give me a protection layer.

Il have to do it all again for Gti inters though :)
