Can you not rent a trailer ??

£60 a day which takes the cost of the cage from £1200 to £1320

hoping someone will rent me one off here for less!

Mysteriously break down on the way to the place ??

AA FTW

haha that would be my plan but if the car doesnt drive i doubt it can get very far.lol

I'm going to need to find a trailor for a track day on the 17th july in silverstone, may ask around some people!

if only it was 8 days later then it would be insured to drive there and back!

day insure not help fella?

and will if the cars not taxed the aa wont legally tow it and you wont be covered should anything happen to it (unless all 4 wheels are lifted off the ground), most breakdown people dont tend to check the tax disc tho.

you can rent a trailer for 37 quid from some geezer on ebay based in coventry but the deposit is something silly.

i reckon you should still consider getting a weichers cage for a 1/4 of the price (one in the fs section) and that leaves you stupid amount of wonga to fettle with the rest of the car. (however I'm not sure if its fia approved or needs to be in date if you are rallying it)

either way with renting a trailer its still gonna cost you or whoevers driving a fair bit in denzel so itll probably work out the same anyway

the car physically cannot be insured in my name until i am 21 at the end of july, so it has been driven to and from garages where i am having work done 3rd party on my old insurance, but that has alas ran out from yesterday.

so it will just sit on my friends drive until then. sniff

but good god will it get cleaned alot though!

i jsut want to track it so i can see what the car can do so i know what the car handles and brakes like. (it does help knowing an ex touring car test driver who I'm sure will not say no to tracking my car and teaching me how to drive it!lol)

Glenn, if youre reading i know youre on here somewhere thats your official invite! haha

I bought a trailer for £250. Possibly the best £250 ever spent.

That is as long as you have a fleet of 4 non road legal cars....

I would offer to lend it to you for the weekend but i'm away on holiday then!

Well... it fits a 205 GTi with an inch either side.

What more do you need?
