Nice work there. I picked up a clay bar kit this weekend just gone, need to crack on and clay my car one of these weekends!

Cheers

What did you use to clean the arches?

^^ ye as cymru said??? and looking shiny, i need to clay mine i think....

yeah clay is pretty damn good stuff. makes it easier to clean the next time you do it

good results mate

arches come up rite well

Did you polish it after using the clay? Clay tends to leave marring (I think that's the techy detailingworld term) so the car often needs a little bit of correction. We followed it up with the PC dual action polisher last time, what a difference!

Love the work on the arches, I was actually looking at mine tonight thinking "I want to wash in here"

indeed it is marring, a pc will make light wrk of it but a couple of coats of SRP and a good wax will bring the paint up very well if you don't have one!

I used a de-greaser that my Dad gets from work thats used to clean train components, it's called super 21. I just diluted it a bit and sprayed on the arches after giving them a good pressure wash!

After i clayed i rewashed the whole car and then used Meguiars step 1 paint cleaner, 2 coats of SRP and then a coat of gold class wax! The wax will be replaced with a better wax when it run's out!

I need to get me some of this super 21 stuff to keep my arches clean .

Need to polish and wax mine though

Why on earth did i paint them
