Thought i'd best post up a thread about this as i'ts coming up fairly soon, the GTi Spring Festival in April was brilliant imo apart from the rain. There were quite a few convoys organised and it'd be good to get some more for this time.

Right the show is:

I'm no good at organising places to meet or convoys but if anyone in the Guildford/Farnborough/Reading/Basingstoke area is going to the show maybe we could all meet up where No-Rice is held which is:

Guildford

Ladymead Retail Park

GU1 1AJ

Or if anyone else has any ideas of where to meet to convoy up then feel free to suggest. Also we'd probably have to leave Guildford at about 7.00am to get to Santapod for about 9.00am depending on how many convoys we meet up with on the way.

we can meet you along the route somewhere. There is a service station on the m1 called toddington services, we can meet you there. I'm guessing other convoys will be meeting there as the dub london lot usually meet there

Nice one Dan, like i said at No-Rice i don't mind leading the convoy if you want me to i just need to make sure i've got a Sat Nav.

And if you can organise some convoys we could all meet up with along the way it should turn out to be a decent amount of cars :-D .

Yeah i'm sure other convoys will be organised closer to the time, i should be able to borrow a mates Sat Nav but if not if i can borrow yours that'll be a big help cheers mate. Whats the new purchase then or are you going to keep it a secret, hows things coming along with the Golf. I might have a few new bits by the time of the show and i might even bother to put the new splitter on

Ill keep it under-wraps at the mo, as i haven't got it sorted yet. I cant even really afford it either! But I'm sure if i get it sorted i will stick pic's up before GTI festival.

Golf is going well, been using it as the GT failed it M.O.T. Its all sorted now.

Hoping to get a few bits off of Neb when he starts stripping his car so i just gotta wait and see, i've had the splitter since Stonor Park tried to put it on once but got too annoyed so just gave up and haven't bothered since

i return from france at 2 that morning. so if my car runs i will be there but dont cound me in becasue its not looking good piston hit a valve so its got on compression in one cyclinder i am trying to sort out a head for it but dont know if i will get it done. really want to say count me in but it depends on the car. if i am there i am there.

Dan I'm so tempted to go down the Strip aswell might go up against a mate from college as he's got a 1.4 6N aswell :-D

Yeah ill probably be come along, i want to go down the strip again do you know if its RWYB? becaus then its like £20 for as many runs as you can fit in, well thats what i did last time.

Club polo cant get a stand, as the spaces for club stands are fully booked already
