Bad points: one very small dent on the top part of the driver's door (5p size). Slight crunch on 5th gear at high revs. Air con making a slight whirring noise so I've taken the belt off. Also, taken the power steering belt off to weighten the steering up a bit.

Price £2500 and I'm based in Billingham, Cleveland.

It will be fully valeted and machine polished for the new owner.

No problem, mate. At least you have the courtesy to let me know

I've had a few interested parties that haven't been contactable since they said they definitely wanted to buy it

Fuel consumption is between 40-45mpg on the motorway. Not sure around town, I drive 90% motorways.

Insurance, I don't know as I have a trade policy through Adrian Flux. I don't think it would be much more than a Polo 1.4 16v though :-)

ah right, thats pretty cool. i thought insurance would be raping as its an import.

yeah the thing is i bought the golf on pretentions of working all summer for my dad, with this credit crunch his company laid me off and so i had to sell the golf, compounding the finance issue lol, not so good. so whereas i had a bit of money kicking about, i now dont. but if it picks up ill let you know. bugger is now i have to try get a job during the uni year too :(
