We were sat in the in the Beefeater carpark from 6 till 7 .

Good meet though guys! Food was brilliant, great service (for me and Toby :) ) and was the best meal I've had in there yet!

The answer to that would be eventually! Just got to the top roundabout before joining the bypass and there was a police car sat on the slip way. They pulled out and followed us along the road, move in between me and Ross and pulled me over for no lights! Had a nice little sit in their car for 5 minutes while I explained about why I had no light, breathised and asked a few questions about the car. Warned me about my plates. But they were sound guy - I was honest about what had happened and that I was just trying to get home. Asked me about the car, MOT, tax and insurance etc. They let us on our way - got to the Petrol station, with lights on - bought a tow rope and then risked it and drove another 10 miles along the A90 - stopped and got nose to nose with Ross connected Buster's jumpleads to my battery and recharged me for 15 minutes. Then got from there to Tescos in Perth - again another 15 minutes charger - then we boosted for home (without the boost!)

I already ordered 3 more charger belts!

Ross has a good pic of the Police and the convoy pulled over!

The funniest bit from last night was Ross chasing a Hare,that

he'd just hit,down the sliproad to the motorway....He got it an

absolute peach with the car and it lay there shaking for a bit,

got up and ran away.The big man was raging....he was going

to dropkick it if he'd caught it.

About the same for me mate. You have got an extra 20 miles further to go than me (assuming your coming from Ayr itself) but for some reason according to google maps it will take you 4 minutes less time .
