This morning the red lines ended 2ft behind the silver car. A visit from Transport For London later and you get this

The driver has done nothing wrong because (s)he hasn't parked on the red lines

The lines are also incomplete, and have to end in a T shape

In all fairness too, the cars NOT parked on red lines, just between them! Cant see the fine being held up in court.

yeh that wont stand up in court, they've painted around the cars, usually there's a notice saying "this street will be closed for painting" etc up before painting the lines

i saw a documentary on towing a while ago, saw one guy dragging the car with the pully cos he couldn't get it into position to pick it up straight. The guy also allowed the camera man to film him do it!

they managed to pick up my G40 and the front of that is pretty low. They can pick up anything as they put them things under the tyres. Made them demonstrate how they towed as I planned on blaming my bent sills on them
