dno, less stress on the engine so better reliabilty?

my 1.6 has only got 75hp and it aint slow.

look up the torque figures for it i know there good for the 1.6.

more for insurance i think..only group 5. (encourage more buyers). thats why they made the 16v aswell

Well talking about insurance its just cost me £1116 for 6 MONTHS!!! but.. i got a 1 year no claims at the end so renewal after the 6 months is 1k for a whole year STILL A LOT lol =D

looked it up on parkers.

torque figures ok but does seem to be a fair bit slower than the 1600.

my sincerest condolences. :crybaby:

well compared to other 1.4 shopping trolleys it probably aint to bad tbh.

compare with some other hatches on parkers and have a see.

tbh mate theres no need to be fucked with figures that have absolutely zero relevance in real life.

youll probably do 0-60 about twice and max it a few times.

woth a fairly good torque figure it should be ok mid range.

just enjoy having a larf in you are car and youll soon not give a shit bout this.

I've thoroughly enjoyed having my 1.6 and think its a great car.

I had one for my first car. Only 60bhp yes, but with the torque it gives it doesnt feel slow to drive, mates said the same thing. And as been said, produces less stress so lasts and lasts!

i used quinn direct. cheapest i could find.

cost me £777.86 today (provisional), and then it will be jus over £2000 for 12 months when i pass my test

Thats quite good =D i aint even had a spin in my baby yet

Jesus that's high insurance. 2 years ago when I was 19 and had a crash against me, my insurance quotes were still less than 2k fully comp in my name.

Edit: and thats even including a group 9 Ford Mondeo!

insurance is rediculous nowadays. it wasnt much cheeper in my mums name (with me as a named driver), and i live in a quiet villiage!

my mum paid it like a legend though :)
