If they stay on I will be amazed.

The glue gun, most versatile pikey engineering tool ever.

Just a quick question too, when putting alloys on a car does anyone else literally use their head to hold the alloy in place whilst locating the bolts?

Well the guy who I bought the alloys off made 4 discs, which would be the centre cap faces, and 4 rings, which the discs would be seated on. Clever and cheap idea IMO.

BUT, when putting them on, the seating rings weren't flat and the discs were only secured at one end by a screw, making them lob sided. so I decided to glue the seating rings to the discs, which was better but still not good enough.

I couldn't find my dremel so off to my m8s in the car to go cut some bits off an allen key to act as locating pins. Came back home glued them on in the correct positions and now they fit fine! discs sit flush with no play whatsoever.

An achievement for pikey techniques.

really pissed off about the centre caps, at the mo I have the drawings for exact replicas of the originals but trying to find the composition of the originals is a right bitch.

After putting them on the red 1 I think I might put the clear indies, badgless grill, mk5 rears and 16v bumpers back on and order some coilovers! They look awesome.
