everyone goes for black, id go red, to match the calipers, never seen a silver gti on red rm's befor...

i'd go something a bit different, personally i always wanted orange centres, but with silver you can get away with alot of colours. I'd be tempted to maybe go with a green or something, the bonus with doing them black however is re sale value

its more a matt burgundy colour. agree candy apple red would look spot on n silver is prob the best colour to carry it off.

New comer to the forum but how about being different and going for something different like a deep purple like the Cadbury purple? Just a mad idea

These were on ed38 and another local forum. I think he does refurbs for people if they want aswell.

Colour is Candy Apple Red form very rich deep red to dark cherry - light sensitive.

To achieve this effect wheels are sprayed with:

3 coats Dark Sealer

3 coats Gold Metallic Base

3 coats Candy Yellow

3 coats Candy Orange

3 coats Candy Apple Red

3 coats 2K Urethane Clear

fronts and caps have additional 3 coats 2K Urethane Clear

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks that!!

I'd go for powder-coated silver centres, highly polished dishes, gold bolts, and chrome badges with BBS in silver or gold.
