What could we call you for?

The fact it takes you up a one way road? lol

I have steve now...

Well c'mon, you tell us all you work for Tom Tom, what cool stuff can you tell us to do with ours????

I never call anyways, I just hit the reset button.

I suppose it's a good way to see if someones cheating on you :?

ha ha yeah the misses is at my best mates, that odd she said she gone her sisters..

They should only work when the vehicle is stationary, imo - like there's enough tat in modern cars to distract the driver already. If someone hits me because they're concentrating on their Tom Tom,i will make them eat it.

I used to sell them and used to own one, then got a garmin as they're muchos better

£6.99 AA map from halfrauds FTW!!

My Dad has a TomTom and I used it once to get from middlesburgh up to where I am in scotland but it just annoyed me. Just a distraction you dont need imo.

I brought the other half a garmin. Does my head in and i quite frequently get it lost taking short cuts down back roads.

We got a taxi in birmingham one night (or morning should i say?) from the custard factory with narrow lane and the dumb ass taxi driver couldnt even understand where it was telling him to go! I mean i was pissed and i understood it better than him!

Oldskool roadmaps ftw tho!

My garmin isnt a distraction at all, sits nicely in the corner out of the way and lets me read the road in advanced, gives an accurate speedo, and how long I got left on my journey.

BUT I can see the negatives from every nonce using them who cant drive in the first place!

What a fantastic idea, I'll just stop on the motorway and check which junction I need.

Seriously mate - how do you think of half the stuff you post?

Used it for many years, and don't reccommend it. Try using it to find a B+B down a little road when you're 400 miles from home, it's pitch dark and you're by yourself. Then repeat it every week.

I don't find my satnav distracting at all, even when I'm holding my phone in one hand and the bluetooth GPS reciever in the other hand.

Wish I did, it'd be more fun than driving all over the country refitting supermarkets.

I dont find mine distracting at all to be honest. Actually, that's a lie. The voice pissed me off big style so it got muted before I even drove off the street, but now it's fine. Just look at it every so often and you're sorted. Handy because it tells me where fixed speed cameras are and areas Police tend to set mobile ones up too.

i'm calling all the time, generally to satisfy customers who are anal and retarded, but i called today talke to a dude named theo, and he was awesome!

i own a garmin though! :ninja:

I've got a TomTom ONE. Its quite good, hasn't failed me yet.

Only problem is rindeisel... I sometimes cannot turn it on with the Power button, the green light at the top which indicates there is power is on. But when I press the button, nothing happens. So I end up having to press the tiny reset button underneath and then the power button, and it works.

Any ideas of why this is happening?

Cheers

Tom.

doncaster 877 if you must know

av broken away from the halfords wrath now tho

and i own a garmin hahaha

I thought I had this problem, but I tried it again and it could be you're simply not holding down the power button for long enough. I say try holding it down for at least ten seconds if you haven't already.

reset it first, then give it a good charge, and try. that usually works
