hey everyone newbie here just swopped my aprilia rs125 for a 1993 polo 1.3 8v so though id join the forum learn abit about the car stuff like that and hopefully maybe usefull to others aswell

it has all the front end just had a new radiator gearbox clutch and driveshafts

definatly getting rid of the stupid big bore exhaust maybe straight through stainless exhaust scorpion any ideas??

how much was the aprilia rs125 worth?

but remove the rear lights get some standard one's on there!

and i would invest in some new alloys have a look in the Mk4 Polo member gallery for inspiration and look at the Parts For Sale area and then Wheels & Tyres too see what's available.

my aprilia rs125 was worth about 1200-1500 quid just had new top end rebuild I'm changin the wheels neway thinking of gettin some deep dish wheels and slam it :)

Welcome to the club, not a bad swap so does that mean you have to buy all the front end parts? if it does make sure you get a 16v bumper insteasd of standard 8v

also i would loose the rear lights and get some 16v lights or the mk5 lights

an I'm sure you know what your doing with the wheels an slammage

no I've got all the parts for the front end all ready

whats the diffrence between the 8v bumper and the 16v bumper?

and also is anyone good at photoshop would like to see what it would look like slammed and with deep dishes on

also what the best lowerin mm for them e.g without rubbin and stuff

think someone put it in fucking about its at the back of a garage like so i dunno

looks like a fun project to start with

changes i would make aaaaare, remove the DUB badge, change the rear lights to mk5 red rears, change the rear plate to a normal long one and locate it to the bottom of the rear bumper, and deck the shit of it on some deep dishys thats all my opinion tho

i got my polo after selling my rs125. i fucking loved it but got points as i was a crazy bastered on it lol.

I got raped by an RS125 when I borrowed my mates Corsa C SRI... they aren't a particularly slow car either...

yer they are pretty quick my dads got vauxhall vectra 2.5 gsi model and it used to piss all over that up to about 60-70 mph
