It is time :( I don't want to part with this, but I don't wanna see her just sit there!

The "Slamtana" is a 1984 VW Santana GX5, 5-pot VW/Audi lump on KJet with a 4+e manual box (5th is stupidly tall, brilliant for motorways ), lowered on an Audi 80 Cobra shocks and springs kit approx 60/50. It's done just under 130k, and in the year or so we've owned it its had:

New suspension

New clutch

Full service (cap, arm, plugs, leads, oil, filters)

And it also comes with:

A rear gearbox mount & a cambelt. (not had time to do as my Passat and Stu's Raddo both needed servicing)

She's 24yrs old, so the bodywork isn't amazing, and the brakes are...well...old-vw-ish! But she runs really nice, handles ok for her size and is, well, cool to roll in!

Be sad to see her go, but gotta move on as stu is running a VR and I have the Passat & next project lined up!

£250...umm. nope. £400, comes with a damn comfortable lowering kit on, full service and clutch, tax till end of aug, MOT till end of oct, i dont think thats an unreasonable price.

good for the engine size, i'd conservatively say an average of 35mpg at about 85-90mph... certainally better than people expect of a car of its age!

Seen this a few times, what a beast. Its a steal at that price! Just needs uber wide wheels to finish it off
