I'm getting a set of ats classics and lowering kit but the polo failed its mot no only one thing (brake hose assembly- collars corroded). So not long to go till shes back on the road

I'm liking the new colour, is it hearing aid beige?. If so, that is the very best colour for early mk2 breadvans! Really looks to be a very tidy example indeed now, nice one

I hope you're gonna replace that ashtray though? Previous owner(s) have stained it badly with their shitty cancer sticks!

A new set of brake hoses all round is probably worth fitting as they're not that expensive and are prone to corrosion. It's worth checking the condition of the hard lines at the back whilst you're at it (by the fuel tank), they have a nasty habbit of going very rusty too.

Do you have any other plans for it other than the ATS wheels and lowering? New rear wiper perhaps?

That looks awesome! Great colour :) I've got a silver '87 breadvan on ATS Classics - just a warning; I needed archwork done to fit the classics - the rear arches only had like 5mm between the tires and the arch lip!

I've still lots more to do to the car but needed it to pass mot. I had just ran out of time as it was up for mot last sat .But i had rolled the rear arches in when i was working on the car to help it stop rubbing.

Well she's on the road again she passed mot yesterday lunch time.
