Think it's about time I put up a thread of updates!

KW Variant 1 Coilovers. (Thanks to jez)

Slated badgeless grill

Getting rid of the VR Splitter and getting a GTI one

Going to keep rocking the 8V bumpers and smooth the plate recess from the front.

Smooth the badge and handle and leave the plate recess.

Colour coded door handles

German pressed plates.

Pretty much it for now!

Small Update Today:

Well been busy these couple of days and finsihed it today. Couldn't stand the gaping hole from the rear wiper so went and decided to sort myself out with a rear wiper blank plate.

The gap:

Covered the whole at the back with a 10p coin. Then went on to apply some filler. Then sanded it down flat.

Primered it.

However wasn't very happy with it. So i sanded it back down and flattened to my perfection.

Then went on to spraying it in gloss black.

Few shots when I stuck it on today:

looks good mate, theres one that colour in my village, and from driving past it loads, i can say that in my opinion, if styled right (like your plans) i reckon the colour will work pretty well with the mods.

my missus has a 3dr in that colour but has 16" bk crap so i'm looking for something better.

Although, i suppose this is a good a thread as any to ask, but why do folk get shot of their rear wiper? It'd bug me to NOT have a rear wiper, so i can't see why people get rid of theirs.

I got rid of mine as it seems alot cluttered with one mate. Getting rid just creates a smooth and seamless rear.

Haven't updated in a while, but things recently have turned for the worse, with a plonker ruining the passenger side.

Smashing colour But no way! What a kick in the arse What exactly happened?

Basically, we were parked behind the van which was parked improperly into the road. As we were pulling out, (I honestly have no idea what he was trying to do), reverses back into us hitting the passenger side. We horn at the guy, the guys comes out looks at the polo then at his van, pretty much a rust bucket and then insists that it was our fault. He then argues to us that we pay him £200 and that he won't tell!!! As he "knows" I don't have a licence or insurance!!! We refused and then wrote down our details to exchange, we handed over ours, and asked for his and he started objecting and hesitating. After a couple of minutes of swearing and shouting, a fellow car of his pulls by and hands him over a slip! Which he then hands to us!!! With a name, not sure if it was his and the company he worked for.

Called the police and they're just pure bolocks, I have nothing against them, but before I could even finish they said, sorry the only thing you can do is swap details and contact your insurer.

I'm going to go all and sort pretty much everything all the little bad nicks on the polo and I'm also toying on the idea of a black roof so we'll wait and see what the out come is
