found a set of these now, and just want to ensure that the tyre/wheel combo will be fine on a mk3 square's rear arches? can anyone shed any light on this please?

Yeah Martin, I'm pretty sure Hockenheims are 5 1/2"x13" ET38. These will fit perfectly on a breadvan with the 165/65/13 tyres, even if you are very low.

Sensible choice BTW.

Got them on mine, no problem at all.

you may get away with 175/60/13

thats what i had on 13" Hockenheims on my old square
