The quality of modern police man...

Featured Replies

My Dad's just got back from the Lakes. It was a Triumph (motorbike) rat ride. He said it was a fantastic 3 day weekend, but on his travels he found this:

Justice :)

Do you think they were driving with undue care and attention? Or Speeding? I beleive both are offences.

satisfaction or pleasure felt at someone else's misfortune.

The police are human just like the rest of us. I would expect to get laughed at if I did that. Why are the police any different? Replace that car with a BMW/expensive supercar/woman driver/chav wagon, IMHO you get the same effect.

didn't say it wasn't funny just don't understand why it is automatically assumed that the police driver was at fault.

and very good point if it was a bmw/expensive car etc. that would get the same effect and i think it also would be assumed that the driver was at fault...

just annoys me that people jump to conclusions...

It's the police, thats why its funny.. most of those assholes deserve everything they get imo! I can remember a time when there did used to be a lot of decent coppers about but now it's mostly all jumped up little shits that only want a job with a title that become coppers

I'm not arguing the point of it being funny or not, or the reasons why people join the police.

I'm simply saying that the comment- "Do you think they were driving with undue care and attention? Or Speeding? I beleive both are offences." really ticks me off because it is assumed that the police driver was at fault.

^^^^thats what they would do if they found you in a ditch!!

But in the same sense it sounds like you're assuming the police driver wasn't at fault.. How can you defend something with out knowing the facts? (unless your a solictor  ) Besides I see no other reason as to why that vehicle would've ended up in the ditch.. no skids marks, impact marks or even flat tyres

Oh noes! alive are the hills :crybaby:

awesome picture!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lmao

>>> simple human error

Even if some police are pricks, they're still only human. Everyone makes mistakes from time to time and people can normally have a laugh at them for it.

Got to wonder how that happened as it looks like a fairly straight bit of road. But its not that funny, imagine if that was the only police veichle close enoguh to respond to a call for someone on a triumph motorbike who has fallen off and needs to be taken to hospital immediatley?

haha

thats even better than my pics! :p

I'm not trying to defend the driver in the sense of how the accident actually happened [and that it wasn't the drivers fault] but only defending him in the sense that the driver shouldn't be automatically assumed as in the wrong- i can't say either way whos fault it is and neither can you. I'm simplying saying that the comment "Do you think they were driving with undue care and attention? Or Speeding? I beleive both are offences" really annoys me.

I'm gonna leave it at that... i could go on forever debating this. :p
