they just prosecuted me for being sat in traffic in my golf turbo when a old lady hit me from behind at 60mph plus almost wrote my car off that had just been painted and out of the bodyshop for 3 days, cost me my insurance excess - £500, courtesy car - £280, solicitors fees - £800 and i won 4 points and a £515 fine and i wasn't even moving!!

I've watched a fair bit of off roading and they regularly (sp) have more of a tilt on than that and still get out of it, esp as there at least 2 wheels on the ground...so regardless to them being police there poor drivers.

i grew up on a rough estate, i spent my early years being told that all old bill were scum, and this was what i believed to be true until i got old enough to make up my own mind about people (about 10 years old). i grew up enough to make up my own mind about them individually (just like i do with every one else i meet) and in all my years since then i've only ever met one copper that was a cock (and i've met quite a few old bill in my time ).

i mostly find that if your a cock to them then they tent to be a cock to you, maybe that's worth baring in mind
