i was in one of my previous polos and came accross a dead something (was dark and i approached it too fast to swerve it) and went straight over it..... the body hit my gear stick and knocked me out of gear!!!!!!

This is why i am lucky driving a mk2 the front end isnt actually that low but from the side it is :-)

I was suprised at how easily it got over speedbumps too with how low it is i was well impressed

I hoipe it passes its MOT with not many faults ..

not really bad ass more like fucking stupid! lol

the 1's on the motorway are usually ok cos they get a lot of ware so there not that big

but there was allways a few that were a tad higher that used to hit. its a wierd noise as well cos there like plastic/rubber lol

sadly i am no longer in the cat eye scrapers group. as the d90's are massiveeeeeeeee so i have groud clearance. i used to love driving everywere at 20mph because every bumb in the road caused an issue. but now I'm higher i enjoy driving abit more well as much as u can in a 1.0 polo

and split my drivers side wishbone. :(

new wishbone and some special welding on my subframe and its stronger than ever

How low is ure mk2 then ? I'm gutted as mine is down 95mm on the front and isnt really all that low ..

Its low enougth but i did want a bit more

Yeti, can't remember as it happened quite fast, was just out of Louth, Lincolnshire but it was one of the big fuckers they use for HGV tackle. Was slightly paranoid as I thought the brakes kept going spongey and every time the fuel gauge dipped during a corner I thought I'd burst the tank!
