^^^It doesn't help when showing how low the front of your car is taking a pic of it on a hill

I dont actually have any piccy's of it on flat ground that actually show a decent view of how it sits .

I will get one once its been through its MOT its out of the garage and i have a set of decent wheels ect on it .

Dont really want to take to many pics of it as its far from finnished atm ..

Mk2's sit that little bit higher than anything else which is quite gutting . ahh well

Believe you me that is a Phil J 80mm kit with some lowering top caps on which equate to another 15mm

It maywell not look like it but that is what i orderd that is what i recieved and that is what i fitted with all new bushes ect .

my mk3 was down 80mm and imo didn't sit far off that at all. and if steve's hasn't been driven then it probably won't of settled yet, mine didn't settle properly till it was properly driven for the first time, up till then i thought i'd been given the wrong kit by mistake

this is my old mk2 down 100mm at the front, i know its not the same car, but its miles lower than your polo

your golf looks sweet mate, but different cars will have different heights even with the same drop, so you can't compare a mk2 golf to a mk2 polo.

my drive to work now takes 10mins longer since i ave 2 go over the speed bumps at 10mph!lol got overtaken by sum old guy in a honda jazz coz i was going so slowly.

^^^and looking at it, are they G60 front arches?? they seem to stick out a fair bit.

and toby, i'd say that more like -40, when i got my old mk2 it was -60 and it seemed lower than that at the rear. still looks sweet tho

I wondered how low it was, my old one was -70 and this one seems a lot lower! Photo's never show how low a car is, 'loon looks fucking sweet though Steeeev :)

Hopefully it will settle a little bit dude :-D . But i am 100% it is down 95mm on the front .

Mk3's sit or apear to sit alot lower as the front end isnt upswept like a mk2 ..

Compare and contrast the shapes of the front of a mk2 to a mk3 side n and you will understand ..

easy answer, just measure the height of 2 or 3 standard cars, get an average and then measure your own one............

BTW my G is only -47.3mm

theres no point in saying how much your car is lowered by cause all the different kits give a different stance.

Best way to be sure is find a point on the car that everyone has the measure the distance from the ground to that point.
